Yes! It's a wonderful way to begin your baby's journey into the world, and we love being able to share that experience with our clients.

Our functional and integrative approach holistically addresses the root cause of any imbalances. We offer well-women annual visits, pre-conception and fertility support, prenatal care, labor and delivery services, postpartum, newborn care, Doula services, and Placenta encapsulation services. Our professional midwives provide evidence-based and compassionate care, empowering women to make informed decisions. We are committed to providing a safe and nurturing environment where you can feel supported and heard throughout your journey.

What happens at a prenatal appointment?
At your prenatal appointments, we'll take a look at how you're feeling, make sure your baby is growing as they should be, and answer any questions you have.
We'll also talk about what to expect in terms of your body changes during pregnancy as well as what to expect during labor and delivery. We want you to feel prepared for everything that comes with having a baby!
What is Functional and integrative care for women?
It is centering on finding the root cause of a health condition instead of treating symptoms. Functional and integrative care is seeing the person as a whole: their emotional, physical, mental, spiritual, environmental, nutritional aspects, and embracing all the factors that can be potentially contributing to an imbalance in the body. It also Focuses on the preventive measurements by empowering the person to keep the body healthy and working as a team with their provider.
How does Sweet Beginnings incorporate a functional and holistic care in the practice?
Marvelys has trained in Functional and integrative care for woman and applies her knowledge to evaluate her clients in order to prevent and treat imbalances in the body. Empowering women to optimize their health through nutrition, supplements, movement, life style changes, and stress release, are some of the ways utilized by us to promote wellness in our practice.
How soon should I call to make an appointment with a midwife?
You can call us at any time! While most people wait until they're about 8-10 weeks to start care along, we know that life often doesn't go according to plan. If you need an appointment before that, or if you find out you're pregnant later than you expected, just give us a call—we're always here to help!
What is the number of midwives involved in my care?
Sweet Beginnings Midwifery Care provides you with the care of a team of midwives that are trained and certified to provide prenatal, intrapartum, and postpartum care. With this 2 midwives involved in your care, you'll have access to personalized care from practitioners who know you and your family well. You'll also have the opportunity to build relationships with your midwives over time so that you can build trust and feel comfortable discussing any questions or concerns that arise during your pregnancy.
What are the benefits of using a midwife for prenatal care and childbirth?
