Care with us typically begins between 8-10 weeks; looking to transfer into care or start later than that? No problem! You can schedule a free consultation with one of our midwives to see if we’re a good fit at any point in your pregnancy.
1 hour long personalized visits with your midwifery team.
Every four weeks until 28 weeks.
Every two weeks until 36 weeks.
Every week from 36 weeks until your baby makes their debut.
What to expect at your first visit:
- A through functional medical/ OBGYN history.
- Nutritional counseling.
- Physical Exam.
- Blood work if needed and urinalysis.
- Urinalysis.
- Vitals.
- Uterine Growth.
- Fetal Heart Rate Assessment -We offer monitoring with a Doppler, fetoscope and pinard horn.
- Fetal Position -We even teach you what to feel for!.
- Nutrition/Exercise Counseling.
- Education For Birth and Postpartum Preparation.
Labor and Birth Support :
- 2 midwives to help facilitate a normal, low risk birth.
- Intermittent fetal monitoring of mother and baby’s well being.
- Comfort measures such as massage, counter-pressure and emotional support.
Immediate Postpartum/Newborn Support.
- Monitors mother’s and newborn vital signs.
- Complete Newborn Exam.
- Assistance with Nursing / feeding baby.
Postpartum Follow-ups
- 24 hours at your home.
- 1 week at home (if you are in Las Vegas Valley area).
- 2 weeks in the office.
- 4 weeks: will be in person or virtual based on needs and preferences.
- 6 weeks: wellness check for mom and baby. Gentle Pap smear offered at that appointment if needed.
- 8 weeks: Nurturing appointment -Essential oil massage, cupping, abdominal massage and closure of the bones ceremony. A gentle reminder that in order to take care of others you must always take care of yourself.
- 24/7 Phone call accessibility with your midwifery team for any client concerns offered throughout your entire care from pregnancy to postpartum.
